Company is MEC out of Canada (was Mountain Equipment Co-op at time of purchase, now Mountain Equipment Company).

The tent and rain fly are clean and in excellent shape.

Perfect for backpacking, family camping, backyard tenting, festivals

There are a few spots on the tent body where I repaired minute pinholes with a waterproof coating. You can see an example in photos.

The rainfly is intact with no damage.

This tent requires three stakes for basic set up.

Tent stakes, tent poles, guy lines, storage stuff sack, and original instruction booklet are included with the tent and rainfly.

An ultra-light, very compact, two-hoop tunnel tent for one hermit or for two gregarious types, the Quail Plus holds two three-quarter-length sleeping pads without overlapping. It also offers a surprising amount of headroom for its type, while the low profile sheds wind quite well. The vestibule provides a good place to store packs, boots, and other soggy or soiled stuff. Only three pegs are required for basic set-up – fewer than most freestanding tents. Six guypoints on the fly permit more substantial rigging in windier conditions or on dodgier tent sites. A mixture of pegs are supplied, keeping weight and bulk down while providing bomber anchors where they’re really needed

Floor is made of 70-denier nylon taffeta – polyurethane-coated for waterproofness to 2000mm.

Fly is made of 75-denier polyester taffeta – polyurethane-coated for waterproofness to 2000mm.

Canopy is made of 20-denier polyester no-see-um mesh and 230 thread count 40-denier ripstop nylon.

The poles are 9mm diameter 7001-T6 aluminum.

All exposed seams are taped for watertightness.

Minimum weight is 2.05kg, packed weight is 2.33kg.
